Dynamics CRM Consultant

Position Summary

The Microsoft Dynamics Consultant is responsible for successful delivery of client engagements. This person provides hands-on operational and technical skills to support the project mission, understands business challenges & translates them into client-focused solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Our consultants play a key role in helping our clients to continue to grow by staying abreast of current and breaking technologies and market trends. As key contributors of the organization, Solutions Consultants may work on multiple concurrent projects as well as provide mentoring to other consultants. In addition to their responsibilities of satisfying client needs, Consultants focus on advancing the firm’s capabilities by documenting, creating, and promoting the firm’s intellectual property. This is a highly visible role which requires an individual with the consulting skills and leadership abilities to help our clients unleash the potential of technology to bring about impactful business results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales with developing prototype demonstrations
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to define requirements and overall solution
  • Document and implement configuration changes and data-mapping

BI Architect/Analyst

Position Summary

We are recruiting for a BI Architect/Analyst.  This role is a blend of analytical and technical responsibilities to help define and lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions in a client facing role. In addition, candidate will work with the Consulting Services team to help customers understand and get excited about the technical aspects of our BI practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong data warehousing and data modeling skills, some technical lead experience, and proficiency in multiple BI tools.  Experience with CRM and QlikView applications is a strong plus.  Experience with data visualizations and user interface development a plus.  Qualified candidates will have a 4 year college degree and at least 2 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Play an active role in delivering our BI solutions to new and existing customers
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop proposals of technical solutions
  • Implementation of QlikTech, Microsoft IS/AS/SSRS/PowerView and other BI products
  • Manage projects and priorities successfully
  • Assist in the internal knowledge transfer of BI to other teams within our organization
  • Build front-end user interfaces to BI applications
  • Ability to lead user requirements working sessions, as the candidate will have an understanding of the development and documentation of user requirements, with strong written and communication skills
  • Experience with QlikView preferred. Experience with related tools, Cognos, Hyperion, SAS BI, Business Objects, Actuate or MicroStrategy helpful

BI Practice Lead

Position Summary

The BI Director at Infinity Info Systems will be responsible for the business direction and technical execution of the Business Intelligence (BI) practice.  The director will mentor and lead a small team of experienced BI professionals to deliver superior end-to-end BI solutions.  The BI director will be able to uncover needs, vision strategic roadmaps, and compellingly articulate the promise and value of BI directly to clients and prospects.  The director is expected to play a prominent role in both team and business development and will bear P&L responsibility.

Preferred candidates should have a deep understanding of BI software and tools (both traditional and business discovery), the architecture needed to support these solutions, and significant experience in consulting methods and tools.  The BI industry and technology change all the time and as the director of a highly-regarded consulting team, you will be expected to be able to learn and adapt at the speed of business and be strongly motivated to continually learn, compete, and grow in an innovative, fast-paced and fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data architects/engineers/analysts/designers to architect and deliver the BI solutions that fulfill the business need
  • Provide leadership in defining business-critical metrics and analyses that drive businesses forward.
  • Establish and instill BI best practices internally and externally
  • Act as a BI technical subject matter expert and ensure Infinity remains at the forefront of BI technologies
  • Maintain Practice P&L and provide guidelines for project cost estimating and delivery
  • Shape and direct Sales and Marketing efforts
  • Apply business strategy while driving technology strategy, balancing short term and long term needs to ensure that the practice can scale and evolve accordingly
  • Coach and mentor the BI team and take an active role in the performance management process by completing goal setting, interim review, and year-end review on a timely basis and soliciting ongoing feedback

Skills Required

  • Deep understanding of data architecture, data warehousing/ETL, data modeling, data governance, data acquisition, data integration and data mining with the ability to challenge technical subject matter experts to think outside the box
  • Demonstrated understanding of Dashboard/Report/Web Design and UI/UX considerations
  • Experience with Big Data, Regression Analysis, A/B Tests and Predictive Modeling
  • Experience with two or more DB vendors in any of the following: Amazon, Microsoft (Strongly Preferred), Oracle, Netezza, TeraData, SAP HANA, Hadoop, MondoDB, noSQL
  • Experience with two or more BI vendors in any of the following: Microsoft SSAS/IS/RS/PowerPivot/PowerView (Preferred), Qlikview (Strongly Preferred), SAS, Spotfire,Tableau, R, Oracle, Cognos, Microstrategy, Business Objects, SAS
  • Experience with Javascript, Python, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with Dynamics or Salesforce CRM preferred

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent
  • 5-8 years of relevant business experience, with 3-5 years in a supervisory position
  • An innovation oriented mindset and approach to the field of business intelligence and analytics
  • Established experience of progressive end-to-end information management solution delivery to large numbers of end users
  • Comfortable running a fast-paced team and the change management necessary to ensure the use of the latest technologies and solutions (especially cloud-based)
